ちぎれる照明

この典型的な形をした照明は紙のみで成型され、最終的な形を自分でかたちづくる事が出来ます。 光を透過するという紙本来の本質とともに、「破れる・ちぎれる」というもう一つの紙の本質を、モールド成型という紙パック容器などを作る技術によりあらわにしました。 その技術により不規則に絡まり結びついた繊維は、光に独特なアクセントをもたらします。 もろさや危うさ。そんな表情がときおり垣間見えると、人は美しいと感じるのかもしれません。

It is in the nature of paper to tear.

This classicaliy-styled lamp is formed solely from paper, and you can customize the shape to your liking. Besides the essential translucency and delicacy of folded paper, paper art can also be expressed through the technology of mold forming. Irregularly tangled fibers are accentuated under lighting and contrast exquisitely with the artifical molded form.
